Default Flicker w/SP570UZ

I was playing around a bit and shot these with the SP570UZ & TCON. I don't think they came out too badly!

He moved in this one

No, not bad at all. You got quite a bit of detail considering the shallow DOF and using a TC. What was your total zoom and about how far were you from the Flicker?

I was about 20ft from it and the zoom used was around 3/4. And, oh yeah... I was shooting freehand through double-pane glass. I had to back off a bit because I was WAY too close. As I said, I was just playing around. This is my rig for the car but I haven't been going anywhere lately and I heard him crying because he was lonely. heheheh

The first ones the sharpest, but their all pretty good. Is this the same camera we've been talking about for six months? Pretty damn good!

Yup. I alternate between the SP570 and the E-620, Dave. I've been using the E-620 more lately because the SP570 is mainly my car camera and I haven't been going anywhere lately.

Great photos all - great use of lighting and equipment. Amazingly sharp through window glass!

Thanks, Mole! Whether it be the E-620 or the SP570UZ, virtually all my bird images are through window glass as I'm a wuss, fair-weather photog. The windows are VERY clean, though.
