Default A Mockery

This guy might have to go. He's becoming very territorial and aggressive. Even the starlings en mass seem no match for him. The flicker and RBW have no trouble making him take off. But, everyone else... ouch. From the E-620 on a dull, gloomy day.

Well, I have to say that's the first time I've ever see a Mocking bird in that pose... he looks almost cute!

GW - Mockingbirds are always cute!!

Gary - Our Mockingbirds are also quite aggressive - but not at the feeders, instead at the berry thickets. Great photo!

The operative word there being "almost".

Thanks, Mole.

Unfortunately, my feeders have become the berry thicket for him. I've been scaring him off and hopefully he'll get the message so I don't have to take further measures.

gjtoth, lovely photo! Perfect work with the background... combined with your subject, you and a number of others in this form bring a lot of art into the photography birds.
