Default Out for a walk in the snow

This is the first time I have had time to go out and take some photos in quite a while, so I though I would share one of the shots with the forum.

I thought this was an interesting shot from the shadow side of the Pheasant against the bright snow.

Very nice shot. He looks like he has serious buisiness to attend to, and can't be bothered with these stupid paparazzi...

That explains the look on his face. And here I thought he just had cold feet!

Nice to see you posting again.

That easily qualifies as "serious business." But I thought he was going over to Bernie Madeoff's place to demand his money back...

(Again, nice shot!)

Thanks for the positive comments, I thought it was a great way to bring out color with a mid day shot in an extremely bright environment.

I have been dealing with an aging parent for quite a while now and it has been a real treat to take a break and post here again.

I hear ya, Tom. Do take time to be kind to yourself. Again, excellent picture. I am waiting to buy a Pentax... Went for a Sunday ride today and use my Nokia 95 to take some pictures... just can't wait till I get my Pentax.

Take care and all the best.

Glad your back Tom, Great job handling the high contrast snow and bringing out the colors on one of my favorite birds. It was nice to catch him in the open, they are such sneaky little buggers.
Nice job.

So glad you took a bit of time for yourself - you are in the midst of a very important, but very tiring, job...

And thanks for sharing this great photo - nice capture of the wide range of tones, and wonderful compostion as well!
