Default Snow Geese Back from the Rice Fields

The a few of the Snows were back on the refuge resting. You can see the orange rice straw/mud that stains there heads. They were closer to the road than they normally are which provided some good shots.

This is a major crop to get this close-up.

#2 I'd say this geese were maybe 50 to 60 feet away when I took these shots.

As always from you, great work - even the very white birds show so much detail!

I actually like the uncropped version with the reflection the best.

Nice shots, great light, I can't wait for the Geese to come back in a month or two once the ice is off the lakes.

smac, I love your composition... great pictures! The water in the third shot looks so beautiful. Many thanks, indeed, for sharing these shots.
