Default Winter is Over

Finally the snow and ice is gone from the fields, but the ground is frozen still, so there are puddles available for the returning Swans to feed in since the water can't soak in.

Their white head is a bit stained from the water as they dig around for corn from last fall, but I like seeing them come back every Spring, even though they are not as white as they should be.

Beautiful mood in a beautiful habitat shot!

Is it just me, or is the photo a bit tilted to the right?

Now that I look at it closer, it does look like it is tilted to the right.
