What a great looking photo and bird you have there. Lovely use of DOF concerning background... colours can't be beat. Great shot!

bhammitt, this is such a nice picture, think of what Mike wrote above... I was wondering if you say anything more about your camera settings, perhaps the lense, how far away you were... the background looks very nice here
