Default What kind of Heron?

I saw this guy this morning. In Hawaii, we should have the black crowned night heron. He was about the same size, but obviously a different type. Could someone provide an ID?

After some web surfing I found a photo - Black crowned night heron, first winter.

A juvinile, or at least a teenager judging by his size.

Yes, very well could be. But, its hard to tell in this Photo... could be an American Bittern.

Just took another look at yours, judging by the eyes I believe it is the Black Crown.
