Default Some Shots from Costa Rica

I wasn't sure whether to post these here or in the travel section, but they seem appropriate here. Here are several shots from a recent trip to Costa Rica. Pics were resized and some seem to have lost even a bit more detail when uploading. Feedback always welcome.

Larry-

Those look really nice. The tree Frog must be really small.

Well done!

Very cool subjects! This is a place on my travel plans some day. I too have found that when I upload images directly from my computer, they tend to look softer on the posting. I usually upload my images to a sharing site (www.photobucket.com) and then link to it.

Thank you, Sarah. The frog was pretty small, but not as small as some of the others like the poison dart frogs which were very very tiny. See another frog shot below (I can't remember what kind that one is).

I don't think I thought about how difficult it can be to try to get good pictures on vacation. So frequently, you are dealing with less than ideal conditions and you are forced to get the picture anyway (and quickly) if you want it at all.

Thanks! I don't know if I was doing something wrong or not, but when I tried linking to Flickr, it would only let me post 2 pictures rather than 5. Everytime I linked to a third image, the first linked image was removed.

Thank you, Caryl. Yes, I agree. They are very interesting. I saw a number of them on the trip, but we stopped at one particular restaurant and they were everywhere.
