... and I'm glad. This Northern Flicker has been gone a couple of months.

he is a pretty bird. and a couple nice portraits.

both are quite detailed, but i really like the contrast in #1.

Many thanks, Dustin. This is one of those days the sun is TRYING to break through the overcast but can't quite make it and gives up. Thus, the difference (I think ). I'm really enjoying this HS-10 but am using both cameras about equally. I gave up even TRYING to make up my mind as to which one I like best. They're both VERY good at what they do.

you know that's the thing many people miss. there is no single camera to do everything, obviously there is substantial overlap at times, but each has its place.
