Default Little Bird

Shot this little gal this morning and when first opened it up to process it, first glance reminded of a stork, standing on one leg.

Nice Dennis....I like the way the feather colors match the background.

Stunning shot, at least a close up, maybe more a macro shot

Thanks for takng a look and commenting. I have a big Yew bush just outside the computer room window, the Hummers sit in that bush a lot after feeding. I spend hours watching them and taking a few shots.

Thank You all. Here is another from that day, just processed today....has its tongue sticking out...makes it a bit more unusual.

This a really nice capture. It is not often you see these little fellas perched on a tree branch since so often they are just hovering. Also, they look so small when they alight compared to when they are in motion! Excellent feather detail coupled with nice bokeh!
