Default Some birds from the park & if i cheat I'll tell you.

Already posted this in another place here but wanted to share it here to.

Went for a walk to get some practice with a 300&1.4tc and a monopod.

I know that I'm not stable enough holding that length and sorry to say that was proven again.

But I had some keepers.

Taking a look at the exif at home I noticed that those shots didn't go at 300mm but closer to 200,
so I could have gotten those shots easy without the TC.

That wasn't the cheating part.
...

Those heron shots where taken against the light and would never have turned out this way without something reflecting the light back.
I was lucky? there was a metal plate next to the heron.

The only problem was getting the metal out of the shot.

So I cheated,
the first shot I masked the grass below the metal and moved it up


the second shot I just masked the heron and placed another background.
