There is an Southern Nightingale in South- and West Europe - that's the one that sings most beautifully

Torgny, I'm like gj - have never seen one either, and was very surprised to see how small they are. I've heard recordings of their song and just thought they would be a bigger bird. Well they do say "Good things come in small packages" don't they.

Thanks for viewing. Yes, they are nothing like the thrushes, over here anyhow, but some 3-4 centimeters larger than the typical members of the Sylviidae family.
