... and lots of luck, I was shooting lotus and waterlilies when the green heron did it's flyby.

NHL,

Great pictures. How did you manage to get the picture of the Barn Swallow (?) Tried to "catch" Bank Swallows in a colony yesterday. There were several hundreds of them. No one - not even within the frame

I aimed at the bunch (@ the wide end of the zoom), and then pick one and follow him/her (by zooming in to the tele end) until he/her turn around to the nest: Swallows
