Nice looking bird - it bears somewhat of a resemblance to some of our western Kingbirds (a type of American flycatchers). Thanks for posting it.

Thanks penolta - yes, it's a bright little bird, quite pretty. Will have to look up your western kingbirds.

Greg - thanks for posting the robin image - not at all like the ones on Christmas cards, eh! Maybe they're British robins?
