Default One More Fogo Island Caribou (ISO 3,200 experiment)

I wanted to try another shot at ISO 3,200 with my new Sony A500, this time in black/white, and here's the result. When I was standing out in the cold wind I totally forgot to try ISO 6,400. Next time for sure!

He still sleeps directly below our living room window every night, even during our big snowstorm. Seems healthy enough; I suppose because he has devoured almost our entire front lawn! No sign of his mom, or any other caribou for that matter. Perhaps he's just plain lost? I just talked to a friend in nearby Joe Batt's Arm, and he has 60 caribou in his front yard!!

(shot handheld using my old Minolta 100-200mm f/4.5 lens)

Looks real good. I'd be happy with that result. Cool shot.

Glen,

What a great fur(coat?). The lens has the resolving power. Spoke to my two herders. They may be willing to take on the challenge to get some order among the caribous
