Default backyard birds

It's the time of year, here, when there are not a lot of opportunities to shoot Osprey or birds of prey. It is, however, a good time to try and take a few shots of Chickadees, House Finches, etc. Here are a few from the last couple of days:

Excellent, as usual, Zig. Lots of detail and personality.

Dittos again.

Hey Zig: did you also get snow from the current storm? Are you sure that you can force yourself to leave your birdie friends and spend the rest of the winter in Florida? Just think of all the snow that you are going to miss. LOL

Hi Gary/Steven,

Thanks for the kind comments.

And yes, Steven, I'll have no problems leaving the Northeast for a few weeks in the Sun. I'm going to have to make arrangements to have the feeder filled while I'm gone.

As for the last storm, we got mostly freezing rain. My driveway looks like a skating rink with about 3" of ice covering the entire driveway. Based on the forecast, looks like the ice will be here 'til I get back from Florida.

Zig
