Default Male Cardinal back again

This guy is starting to come around more often, yesterday was a very bright overcast day perfect for photographing birds!!

Beautiful compositions Bob...nice color, contrast and detail. Nice bokeh as well. EXIF said foal length was 240mm...what lens were you using?

Thank you jelpee! These were taken with my Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR

Thanks for those kind words Bob and jj. But its your great shots that gave me the inspiration to make some perspiration. These were a pleasure to work with. By the way, same stick. I shot it specially for your bird shot to match lighting and angle. Thanks for helping me get off my duff.

I took your cardinal and put it through a mosaic program and let it scan through almost 20,000 pictures to get this. Hope you like it.
