These must be hard shots to get. What was your distance? I think the landing shot with the fish turned out very good.

I cheated - a lot closer than you suspect.
Distance was across a 2 lane city street and 2 sidewalks. A year ago they built a 5 floor parking garage which brought me up to eye level. Thankfully the bird was positioned where I had the trees in background rather than rooftops and and a train track.

Taken with 55-200 @200 f6.3 1/320 sec manual focus. Unfortunately, modern lens no loger have a distance scale so can't tell the focus distance.
