Default Here's the Eaglet!

Here's the eaglet. I just missed a shot of the adult right behind the baby...couldn't get my tripod set up in time. The adult is almost hidden by branchesin this shot. I also realized that I had the ISO set at 800 on all of my eagle shots. I was wondering why the shots looked so noisy. Dumb mistake. Hopefully reducing the ISO will reduce the noise.

Awwww man, where's that 1000mm lens when you need it....Great moment though...
Stay with them cause junior will be learning to fly soon....

John, you're right. Even 500mm would be better than the 300mm I have. Those extra mm come at quite a premium though!

jj, I am very much enjoying watching these amazing birds. Not many people are this fortunate.

Saly, I have more shots where the adult can be seen clearly. This nest is only about ten minutes by car from my house, so believe me there are more shots to come.
