Default More starlings!

They're not exotic, they're not terribly popular, but they're plentiful and offer many opportunities for practice and experimenting with camera settings without leaving your own back yard! These starlings were perched in a street tree near our back gate early the other morning before I left for work. This was a quick TCON-17 practice.

Get the sun right and you can get some surprising effects from their glossy feathers.

Cheers

Yes, they are mean birds, but photogenic. Really like the first 2, nice composition!

Nice Bernice. They are attractive birds, pity they are such a nuisance.

Thanks jj, saly, and banksy. My husband thought I was terrible even bothering to take photos of starlings - they are not worthy! he said. But you have to practice on something, don't you.....

Appreciate your comments.
