Default Roseate Spoonbill

These are cool birds, they get their pink color from organisms they eat.
Even their eyes are red

Great capture.

That is one bird on my list (among many) that I've yet to encounter during my stay in Marco in the winter.

Though, Saly is right, a face only a mother could love.

Great shots, what a cool looking bird ............... you could say "nice legs shame about the face", but I'm a sucker for ugly critters so I'm gonna say ohhhh cute.

I have usually seen them at a distance and they do look very pretty, it's just when you get up close. Google images for roseate spoonbill and they look awesome, from a distance.
