Default A Backyard Bird

A photo taken in Spring of a male Goldfinch with his feathers turning color to attract a pretty little female Goldfinch.

Taken with an Olympus E-30 with 50-200mm ED lens.

Great detail, composition, and color, Zig. Coming out of that winter coat to dazzle folks, eh?

Great detail on the feathers, Zig

That colour is very sweet, indeed!

Hi Gary and Paul,

Thanks for taking the time to look and to comment. Much appreciated.

I love taking photos of song birds in the Spring when they are at their most colorful. This time of year, they start to look a little dull and the lighting certainly doesn't help.

Thanks again,
Zig
