Default Birds of Prey - local falconry centre

A couple of weeks ago I had my first try at birds and today decided to have another go. This time at a local falconry centre.... hey, I'm new to this so decided to make it easy on myself, at least when it comes to locating the birds, it certainly wasn't as easy to shoot them!

Great shots- and love no 6... you must have a fast focusing lens there...!

Hi Simon, #6 was pretty easy as I got him on a turn but the others coming towards are a pain. I use a Sigma 120-300mm f2.8, focuses fast but not as quick as my Canon 70-200mm f2.8, but I needed to reach so went with the Sigma today and as ever I was happy with the results.

Nice looking shots. My top picks are #4 and #6.
