Default Almost Nailed It!

I surprised this Great Blue Heron on the bank of the Trinity River in North Arlington, Texas. I didn't manage to get all of the bird in the picture but I thought it was kinda neat due to the Herons shadow on the sand below.

I agree, that shadow is definitely the highlight of the photo! What great symmetry!

Well done in what must have been a very 'quick take it or miss it' situation!
