Nice shot Fred. You can tell he is concentrating on finding food and ignoring you. Good composition and focus.

Yes, I believe its a Great Blue Heron. But I am not a bird expert

nice shot.. which camera/lens combo did you use (the EXIF seems to be empty)?

I do the re sizeing for posting in PSE 8 it blows away the Exif.
I don't know why

E-520 with 70-300 lens
ISO 200 F 7.1 shutter 1/640
