The top one is a Great Egret with yellow beak, black legs and feet, and is larger in size.

The next three pictures are the smaller snowy Egrets with black beak, black legs and yellow feet. The snowy Egret also show fluffy head chest plumes when it gets excited.

The third picture, indeed, looks funny as it is bracing for landing onto the tree.

Really nice captures of both the Great and the Snowy. Both are very common in my area, and you did a good job on these. They are challenging to photograph in bright sunlight due to their brilliant white color.
