Default up close

I went, I saw, I sneaked up on a Grey Fox and I got his photo from less than 30 feet!

With my 17-40 wide angle lens I got this photo from a distance of 8 feet or less:

I just found out this morning that the fox I photographed is Not a Grey Fox. It is a Very Rare Silver Phase Red Fox! So now I'm even More Happy with the photos I got to take by using my old Hunter's Sneak skills! I've been doing a Happy Dance ever since I got the information!

Nice catch! I have never seen this kind of fox. I like the second picture. It seems like the fox was going potty with its tail raised.

EDIT: They're back, thanks for sharing. While I'm taking the time to post, I really appreciate all the photos shared by everyone here, great quality shots.
