Default skunk at night

I came down at night and put on the patio light and found this skunk. I had to think fast and grab whatever cameras were around before he bolted. I had to shoot through a dirty window using only the dim patio light. What frustration. It is the first skunk I have ever sen here. This is not a great photo but it is a special one to me.

oh boy I hope you don't have dogs... it took a month to get the smell off my dog the first time she saw a skunk!

Fun shot Carol.
First one my dog found he wanted to make friends so went to sniff it's butt. Not good? I had to fight him, A 155lb Malamute and tie him to the fence then wash him down with tomato juice and vinegar.

Similar fight after his first porkypine...
