I like the composition and color but it is out of focus. In a situation like that, you need to use manual focus and, if possible, put your lens up against the glass of the aquarium. It helps to have a UV filter to protect the lens from scratches.

I wish that I had control over the camera that I had used for that photo, but alas I was using my HP315 with no manual focus, or filter capabilities. I am looking into a camera upgrade, but I need to wait a few more weeks until the new models come out. I want to be sure of my choice before I outlay a wad of cash. My wife also wants to make sure it won't be a waste of money. Especially since I already have the HP.
