Thanks Ron.
Iím starting to get used to the camera, my next step will be to load the Canon software and try some RAW shots. That should let ne get a little more out of my pics.

Tom... I always shoot raw, and I've never even opened the software that came with the camera. Use BreezeBrowser or YarcPlus.

Drop a note if you want some direction.

Cool shot BTW, love the way his eyes are focused on the prey.

Default Great shot, great timing

Tom,

That's as perfect as a shot can get, I think.

I also think you'd do better with YarcPlus or BreezeBrowser than the Canon software. They are only $30 each, and you can download a trial version.

Nice crisp shot Tom. Looks like the camera suits you well. 150 shots.... please don,t post them all or my wife will have to save them all ( she loves herons and egrets) and I might not see the computer for a couple days.

Thanks Bob, Walter and Brooks.

From what I have read Bob and Walter is BreezeBrowser and YarcPlus are a lot better then the Canon software. I think Iíll install one or both rather then waste my time with canon. Thanks for the info, I thought I still needed the Canon Software installed.

Brooks, I probably wonít post all 150, they are not all that great.

BTW, Tom, also check out the free Downloader at the BreezeBrowser site. Very nice, it keeps the THMS and CRWs together and can file them by date if you want. The HTML generator in BreezeBrowser is another nice simple and useful utility.

YarcPlus has an extra noise reduction function that's nice to have; I use it whenever I'm converting a file to make a print from.
