Refuge Wildlife Variety
Photos taken at the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge near Willows, California.
Immature Red-tailed hawk with something tasty. I disturbed the meal. It was eating on the side of the auto-tour road when I drove up causing it to take flight.

Here is a better view of the pond and all the pintails. The Ross' geese were cropped out of the shot at the bottom. I left a couple in picture.
