went out to one of the parks along Puget Sound this afternoon, hadn't been there in years, and thought i'd see if i remembered it right... i did. while i was there, i managed a couple of shots of one of the gulls that were flying around... i don't normally waste memory space on sea gulls, but spring's coming, and i wanted to practice my BIF technique...

5D2, 24-105 @ 105mm (yep, these are cropped!), 1/500-1/800 @ f/6.3

thanks, Steve. haven't been shooting birds much lately, but with spring coming, i'll probably get more chances...

Very fine details on the a flying gull! Great shots!

I can never shoot anything flying well enough to display, but only the one which can stand still enough for me to photograph.
