Default some recent blue birds and some pine grosbeaks

These blue bird shots were from Sunday, after the blizzard when the sun came out. We got 26" of snow BTW

And these are some shots I picked out from the visit we received from the pine grosbeaks that didn't make the first cut. They visited one day in December for a few hours and ate all the crab apples (they look like berries) on the tree which is the stuff stuck all over their beaks

Thank you three for your views and comments! I was rather pleased with the last shot of the pine grosbeak. On my first review I tossed this one aside because the shadow from a branch was across his eye but I am glad I came back to it. I find birds will often times pick a perch where their eye is in the shadow on a sunny day. Gives me fits as a photographer but I can understand that it probably helps them see better.
