G'day JB

You have the makings of a great image here - and my compliments go to you for getting out into the snow

may I offer you some cc
The image seems a trifle dark - it seems that the extreme whiteness of the snow has tricked the light meter and under exposed the image a bit > extremely common on snowy / heavy cloudy days

In your photo editor, pop into "Levels" and see if you can lighten the image a bit
I feel that if you can do this, the whites will brighten, and the beautiful feathers of the bird will sparkle as well

If you're not sure how to do this, give a shout and I will post you the 'how to' stuff
Regards, Phil

Nice shots! I've found that shooting in the snow to overexpose by about 1 stop.
