Default Shore bird ID

Shot this guy today. I think it might be a Sanderling, not sure. Any guesses?

The Common Sandpiper is an Old World version of our Spotted Sandpiper. "Peeps" can be tough - this is most likely a Western Sandpiper.

You're probably right...Sandpipers are common around here. I am not much of an Ornithologist.
