Default Non-Pollinating Bee????

This Bee is a bit larger than the common Bumble Bee. It gets its nectar by probing the base of a flower from the outside and sucking out the goodies. No pollen transfer seems to be involved in this process. Is this Bee beneficial? Please forgive the poor IQ of the attached photo
