Is this an Apache helicopter? Where is the nearest Naval Base in N.C. near where you were hanging out?

IMO it's from Virginia Beach
Oceana's is only a stone throw away, plus the Hampton Roads are famous for its large military presence...

BTW I think that was a Blackhawk, the Apache is a smaller two seaters attack helicopter: Bird of Steel ;)
