Default Get out of my branch..!!!

I was shooting some mallards in fly at Hempstead Lake State Park and heard some noise behind me, if was a Downy Woodpecker claiming her territory.

That is a good series! Every shot is clear and sharp! I love it! I can never get a clear shot of a woodpecker. The places I go to have dense foliage making it extremely difficult to shoot through the branches and leaves. I can hear them pecking away on the tree but so far I am still unable to take a good picture of any woodpeckers.

Thank you Michael, it is my first time capturing the White-breasted Nuthatch and their movements are very fast and nervous.
