I too like the beaver. But all these shots are fantastic. You must have spent the entire day out there, you don't get these in an hour.

Your duck shot is very original, as is the Heron. Looking at your pictures makes me consider buying a kayak. The only thing holding me back is my intense respect for alligators. lol

I normally exercise the whole length of the lake in a little more than 2 hours. It's not all shoot as I have to paddle most of the time and only coast when there's some wildlife. Also once I stop, I start to notice lot more things to shoot (like beavers...)

We're lucky as there are only turtles in our waters

Great shots. The Canada Goose take off is quite dramatic. Really shows the action and effort it takes to get those birds airborn.
