Default Hummingbird pictures form the Pacific Northwest

Taken in a park in Tacoma. I can really say what species it is because of the lighting. My best guess is an Anna's Hummingbird.

The Bird Festival at Edmonds didn't turn out very well for my friend and I. There was nothing to see during the guided tour and boat cruise in the Puguet Sound waterway. We had better luck at the local parks even the yield was pretty low compared California at that time of the year.

Nice shots. Those are indeed Anna's. Only other species we have in this area is the Rufous, but they are all gone by now.
