Default Full Sky

This year over 21,000 Greater Sandhill Cranes stopped by Crex Meadows in Wisconsin prior to their migration south. At sunrise they leave their roosts in the refuge and fly out to the neighboring fields to feed.

Something seems to diverted these three from their feeding.

Thanks. Been a slow year for picture taking this year. Wife injured in March, bad weather and just trying to keep up with life. Some sanity returned, just in time for fall migration.
