I love the 7D. This makes the 1 series kind of redundant for many. no wonder i see many 1dx on sale.

Could be... but the SigMonster also is relatively affordable when compared to the main brands plus the zooming feature makes it quite easy to locate the subject @1280mm (800mm x 1.6) otherwise:

Looks like your getting the feel of the MKII.

The AI servo/tracking mode is insane on this camera.
