Default a couple from Saturday 4/4

after i shot the grebe at the marina yesterday, i headed for a nearby park to see if i could find the barred owl that's been reported there. no luck, so i went another park close by to see if i could find one of the pair that hangs out there - no luck there either. but i did get a couple of other shots there - a brown creeper and my first decent shot of a pileated woodpecker! the latter isn't great - he was at some distance and the light was less than ideal - a bit too bright, and it blew the whites on his head - but it's the first shot i've gotten of one of these little stinkers, so i'm gonna take it!
