Default a bushtit - sitting still!!

at first i didn't recognize this little bushtit - i so seldom see them out in the open and sitting still, i wasn't quite sure what this little fella was! but he/she/it posed so nice for me, i couldn't resist a shot or two... 7D2, 600mm, 1/1000 @ f/14

These little guys are moving all the time making it difficult to photograph. Nice capture!

they're definitely on the "energetic" side, for sure - that's why i was so surprised to see this one just chillin'. and out in the open, too - usually they're back in among the branches where you can't get a clear shot!
