Default Another Pintail courtship flight

It was pointed out by Rocky, and I totally agree, that the background was a little busy in my previous post. It is such a fine line. On one hand, I prefer some background behind the birds and rarely, do I prefer just a blank blue sky. I think this shot is a little less distracting. But, I'll let you be the judge.

Thanks for looking and all comments are welcomed,

Cheers,
Steve

P.S. FYI, I have been trying out my new Nikon 600mm lens and all of my recent post have been with this lens. So, far I have to say, that I am very impressed and pleased.

EXCELLENT! i didn't intend my comments on the background to detract from your previous photo, Steve. it was extremely good, and i know all too well that when we shoot wildlife, we can't always pick the background that best suits our photographic preferences. but this one, without the bright, distracting lower half, is really nice. the ducks stand out perfectly against a complimentary backdrop, and the clarity is amazing. that Nikon 600mm is obviously a very good piece of glass!

Rocky, I know that and wasn't offended in the least. I totally agree with your observation. To be honest this is just another opportunity to post one more picture from that new lens.

Cheers
