It is unusual that no one commented. Nice sharp pics. That's a lens I've considered. Have you used it with the 1.4 or 2.0 TC's?

Well, I hadn't gotten here yet. That third picture is odd. There seems to be too many legs sticking out. Is there more than 1 cat? I like that pictures as its composition is so different. Well done.

The second one is a rather classical pose, but it still works. Nice exposure on the dark fur.

My comment on no views was a just a sarcastic remark only. I have tried this lens with a 2x TC lost 2 stops but picture quality was still excellent. The third picture is two lion playing with one biting the others tail (Ouch!)

Ah, that is a tail? I thought it was root of a tree. Now that makes a lot more sense. A great picture, that I really love. Very non-traditional... and it doesn't hurt that I like cats.

I've posted things here that get lots of looks and few comments. Always bugs me, so I try to comment on other people's that don't have many posts. (for example, my great blue heron flying shot has had only 1 person comment, I believe. And I actually really like that shot.)

You have some great shots there TG. Very sharp!
I especially like the lion as it is not the usual shot

I'm sorry I didn't comment sooner. I'm still on dial-up and sometimes loading the pages on this forum takes so long that I just give up. I'll be switching to high speed in the next couple of months and I'm really looking forward to being able to view all these pages quickly!

Again, great shots!

Some nice shots... perhaps a little too sharp in places, especially the first pic.

The Lion is fantastic just a shame you wernt a little higher on the shot.

It seems apt but here some quick tips from my web site on zoo photography. tutorial on zoo photography.

Keep it up.

I like the photograph of the lions as well, looks like a lion orgy. Unusual perspective always makes for an interesting photograph.
