Shot through glass and in dark weather, but I love the expression.

Very well done, those cats are beautiful animals.

Something seems a bit odd in the exposure... a little to bright? I just remember these cats being a touch browner/darker. But I could easily be remembering wrong.

Yes you are right.
It was rather muddy there (light) and the glass did not help either.

If I tweak it more it becomes not better.

Understand. I have some shots that I can't get better but I like them anyways. The expression on that one is great, and that is what really matters.

I wonder what it was eating. It almost looks to big for it to have killed it (I assume this is a zoo shot, so it didn't have to "kill" it any ways, but I still wonder.)

I don't know if this is to your taste, but often you can increase depth in a photo by creating a duplicate layer, setting it to Multiply mode, then reducing the opacity until it looks right. Saving it back to jpeg washed it back out a little, and I suppose I should have overdone it a little, so keep this in mind when you look at how your photo turned out:
