Nice! You did a great job getting that close. Usually, the best I can get is a yellow spot in the thistle somewhere.

Beautiful composition.

They certainly do like thistles. Okay Jazcan, what process did you use for the change, esp the noise(I thought the noise was a jpg thing).

Hi aladyforty (& jazcan) ,

That is the beautiful thing about this forum...hundreds of pairs of eyes that see things a little differently...This forum member only speaks for himself but he is all the richer for the associations, friendships and photo knowledge shared here.

To all forum members (in the immortal words of JFK, which I respectfully borrow...)

"Let the word go forth..."

Please, anybody, that wants to edit any of my photo submissions please feel free to do so.

Yeah!!!

:-)

P.S. Here is someone's thoughts on another's "vision":

On Creativity

Good ideas are fragile. They can be squashed without much effort. That is why
a creative leader needs the eyes and ears to see and hear the world from a
different perspective. The magic word is objectivity, the ability to
appreciate a piece even - or especially - when it is antitheitical
to what you would do.

It does not require a creative director to look at an ad and say, "Gee, they really
nailed it. It's just the way I would have done it." The trick is looking at an
ad, and saying, "Hey, this is upside-down and sideways from the way
I would have have it. But it is right."
