Went out for a style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff"walk this afternoon and got these shots.



I have no Idea what the Little yellow bird is, he was very fast and tiny. Maybe an aussie wild finch of some kind

Julie, you're starting to get better with these bird shots. I can't help you with id on Australian birds - they're just too foreign to my experiences.

Now, on that third picture, with the ibis - the sky has some funny pattern to it. Did you take the picture through some sort of screen?

No screen, just a problem with AcDsee when resizing, they are a little compressed:-)

Boy, those sure are compression artifacts, Julie! I just did a properties on that picture and noticed it's only 10kb in size. I think that you could probably compress less, perhaps to a total of 80-100kb in size, and it wouldn't bother anyone here. Even Norm, with his dialup connection, probably wouldn't complain about that.
