Then the madness erupts (my eye, my eye)...

Take that! Aaack!

Another lunge...for something...

Now this is getting confusing...

Who is what and what is who? Okay, there's an eye, but 4 legs, so there must be two of them...

They became friends in the end and waddled off into the sunset.

wow.....cool shots...

norm....i have an assignment/idea for you.....try to get a head shot, of the seagull (err...maybe they are just "gulls" by you they by the sea?) i've noticed from these shots, the beauty of their eyes...i don't know if this will be really hard for you, i know i'd have an interesting, and without a doubt, frustrating time...but, you're darn good at bird shots, so you can pull it off...

btw.....this your mark 2? i was on vacation when you did all that...so i'm not sure if you ended up getting it, or cancelling it....

well...think about my idea...

You are extremely adept at figuring things out Vito. Yes, this was taken on a short burst of the Mark II. If you hold the shutter down too long you fill the card up...it's like a friggen (that's a nice word)machine gun.

I'll work on the seagull eye idea, they do have a brilliant eye. I noticed this myself in these shots.

Thanks for the input, as always.

np dude...you make it very easy to give input

it's such a shame, that these gulls, are trying to tear eachother's eyes out...they are cool looking eyes....lol

lol, i like the machinegun reference

i'll (eye'll) look forward to your "eye" results....

Eye'll keep my eye out for good venturesome gulls with an attitude. It's gonna be tough finding a pair like these again, though. However, the eyes will be the focus.

Beauty of the eyes ! Snowy won't have any eyes left! - yuck, check out the second picture. It looks like Grizzle Top has his beak jammed in Snowy's right eyeball. Then in No.4 GT comes back for a little pecky stab to Snowy's left eyeball. Maybe he wandered off blind !

Believe it or not, all participants walked away relatively unscathed, including myself. Nature at it's best/worst.
